Youth Representative

Here at The Mix we know that all young people experience things differently.

We believe that having a diverse group of young voices is vital in shaping the services and support The Mix provides.

We're therefore recruiting people who want to use their connections and people skills to gain insights into the wide range of issues young people may be facing.

Want to become a Youth Representative?

At the Mix we want to ensure that we are listening to the changing needs of young people across the UK, this is where the Youth Representatives as a group come in. The Youth Representatives are a group of young people within the Mix’s Youth Voice model. Their main mission is to diversify and amplify the voices of the young people that the Mix is listening to.

This voluntary role as a Youth Rep will see you as the main contact and advocate for young people across the UKBy creating surveys, conducting interviews and meetings with young people you will ultimately gain insights into the wide range of issues that young people may be facing.

We’re looking for young people aged between 16-25 that have a passion for raising awareness about issues which are important to young people to join this group. Our Youth representatives are all given the opportunity to influence the content that The Mix offers to ensure that help is available for every individual. They’ll work with us to ensure that the services offered are the best they could possibly be.  

We hope to have a diverse group of individuals that come from a variety of backgrounds and are passionate about speaking out about their experiences. We welcome and encourage applications from minority groups such as the BAME and LGBTQIA+ community.    

We are looking for people that can commit to the role for at least a year.
