Our webchat counselling service is suitable for you if you are aged 10-18, living in the UK and are looking for short-term help with your mental health and emotional wellbeing. We are available Monday to Friday from 4pm to 11pm.
Our counsellors aim to help by listening to your problems and working with you to find ways to cope.
Your session will be private and confidential. The only time a session would not be private is if:
- You want us to tell someone else
- We believe your life or someone else’s life is in danger
- You tell us that you’re seriously harming another young person
Counselling sessions could help with issues such as:
- A bereavement (death) or relationship breakdown
- Stress / anxiety
- Exploring issues like your sexual identity / gender identity
- Dealing with issues that are stopping you achieving your ambitions
- Dealing with feelings of depression or sadness
- Understanding yourself and your problems better
- Feeling more confident
Counsellors may occasionally schedule their work hours to meet your needs. You will usually be offered up to eight counselling sessions that last around 50 minutes each.

Be as honest as you can. If worried for your safety the counselling team may will have to activate the “critical risk” procedure.
Please note that our service is not suitable if you’re already receiving counselling from another therapist. If you’re on a waiting list for treatment you can still access our service. It can be tricky to know what to do while on a waiting list, so read our article for further support and ideas.
