It's not always great
Well my coming out story IS NOT inspirational. It's a warning, and I hope no one makes the mistakes I did.
Well, I don't want to go into all the details 'cause it gets pretty dark, but when I say these five words you can probably predict what happens.
I am a gay Muslim.
Not everyday you hear those words together eh? Long story short, I was super depressed and was told writing it down helps, and it did. Until my parents found my diary and read it all and found out. I'm not going to go into details about what happened next but the next year was NOT fun for me.
My only advice is come out WHEN YOUR READY, and if you are from a religious background please, please, PLEASE, think about coming out to your parents long and hard.
Stay strong :)
