Our volunteer community helps young people in the UK all year round. As a Discussion Boards Moderator your weekly shifts can be flexible and fit around your other commitments. For further information download the full role description.

- We can only offer factual references after 6 months of volunteering (26 shifts)
- If you are less than 6 months off your 26th birthday, we will not be able to accept your application
FAQs
- Two hours a week - choose a time that works for you (though evenings and weekends are preferred). This is a virtual opportunity and is based wherever you have access to the internet.
- No experience necessary.
- You must be 18-25 years old. If you are less than 6 months off your 26th birthday, we will not be able to accept your application
- You must be based in the UK
- You are happy to undertake a DBS check
- A strong interest in online communities
- A good grasp of the English language
- Basic computer skills and the ability to access the internet on a regular basis
- To be non-judgmental, diplomatic and have a good sense of humor
- To be enthusiastic about helping young people
- Improved communication skills
- Relevant experience for many careers
- Something to put on your CV e.g. commitment and social responsibility
- Get an insight into key issues affecting young people e.g. mental health
- After six months with us we’ll happily provide you with a reference
