Winter Campaign 2025: Keeping In Touch

Throughout December, our Instagram channel will be led by our Comms Committee: ten creative young people aged 18–25, each sharing their own winter survival tips to help you get through the season feeling connected.

Who is the Comms Committee?

Our Comms Committee is a group of powerhouse young people who work with our marketing team to make sure everything we create is genuinely useful for you. At the start of 2025, we decided to take things up a notch and hand them the reins to The Mix’s socials for December, giving them full creative freedom to create a mini winter campaign shaped by their lives, their voices, and what they know young people really need at this time of year.

Why ‘Keeping In Touch’?

After digging into The Mix’s data, looking at wider research, reflecting on their own experiences and a series of co-design sessions, the Comms Committee chose to focus on something that affects so many young people in winter: loneliness and the rise in mental health struggles. They wanted to create a space that feels supportive, sharing simple, genuine tips on how to ‘keep in touch’ - with yourself, with others, and with the world around you.

Where can I find this content?

You’ll see most of the takeover happening over on our Instagram, but the mini campaign doesn’t stop there. Our Comms Committee have also written a series of helpful articles to support you through winter. Plus, the Christmas minisodes of The Mix Six podcast are making a comeback, with four fun, bite-sized episodes hosted by the committee.
