Youth Board Chair
To be able to truly meet the needs and demand of young people, they have to be represented at all levels of the charity. The Mix are proud to be looking for a youth board chair to start our new Youth Board, bringing youth voice to the governance level of the charity.
We are looking for a Youth Board Chair that is passionate about issues which impact young people and are ready to advocate for young people at a charity governance level.
You do not need experience of charity governance, just a passion to champion the needs of young people and their involvement in the delivery of The Mix's services
The Mix is looking to recruit a new Youth Board to strengthen our existing Youth Voice Programme. The Youth Board will ensure that young people are represented throughout all levels of the charity. The Youth Board will make a direct link between our youth voice work and how decisions are made across the charity.
We are looking for a young person to provide leadership to The Mix’s Youth Board through a chair role. You will be aged between 16-25 years old and be passionate about issues which impact young people and feel ready to advocate for young people at a charity governance level.
The Mix wants to move towards and keep reviewing that it’s meeting, a diversity workforce that reflects the diversity in society. Not only because this is the right thing to do, because we value, celebrate, and recognise the contribution that diversity can offer to the young people we serve, and the staff and volunteers who make up our workforce.
